Swan Goose: Native to southeast Russia, northern China, and Mongolia and also seen at Hillcrest Manor. Habitat includes areas with fresh or brackish water. Breeds in marshy or grassy areas and in reed beds. Feeds on grasses, seeds, leaves, and often food brought by humans. Direct flight with strong wingbeats but domestic birds rarely fly.
